This PDF contains:

  • 60 Readings – each 1 page of A4 for easy printing
  • 60 Corresponding question and answer sheets again A4 size
  • 60 Answer sheets for teachers to use
  • Each question and answer sheet has 10 marks for easier questions and 10 marks for harder questions – suitable for differentiation
  • Every sheet is out of 20 marks making it easy to calculate percentages for student feedback and school requests for data
  • The topics cover every part of the theory for the OCR GCSE A451 exam
  • 6 bonus crosswords covering key programming terminology
  • Updated based on teacher feedback
  • All pages are black and white for copying on any printer or photocopier
  • Answer sheets for teachers contain workings for calculations and explanations of harder questions – ensuring you’re not caught out
  • All questions easy to mark and suitable for peer marking to allow learners to progress and save you time
  • The full site licence allows you to use the book  however you want within your institution – print, copy or upload to your VLE or learning platform (as long as it is only available to students in your institution – e.g. behind a password).

  • Worksheets perfect for homework
  • Corresponding readings allow for learning or review of topics during homework
  • A great way to end a topic
  • Topic readings and completed question sheets make for perfect revision of the whole course
  • Questions are very easy to mark and suitable for peer marking. This makes it easy to carry out continuous assessment to monitor progress and for reporting data to management
  • Answer sheets mean that teachers don’t need to do any preparation before going through answers with students

A full sample including 6 worksheets and one crossword is included below.

In total 60 topics are covered. Each topic has one reading, one question sheet to fill in and one answer sheet. Programming theory follows the same style of pseudocode used by OCR in examinations so it’s great preparation for the exam.

Justin HigginsComputing Teacher, Norfolk

I have had a student ask me if she could have another complete set of the reading sheets for revision… My students have been issued an expensive text book,  so this request is a great endorsement of your work! 2nd Edition

I have used your book at GCSE and it is a fantastic resource.

I think what the students loved about your GCSE booklet was the way in which it was laid out, in an easy to understand booklet format with plenty of exam questions etc. 2nd Edition
